FARGO - Two Fargo men and two South Dakota women are in custody in Stutsman County, N.D., after a Tuesday morning pursuit in a stolen vehicle, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Jeramiah Twobear, 23, and 22-year-old Daniel Cee Walker, both of Fargo, and 30-year-old Jerlyn Spider and 18-year-old Kelli Spider, both of South Dakota, are in the Stutsman County Correctional Center in Jamestown after a pursuit and standoff with law enforcement Tuesday, the highway patrol says.
A 2005 Honda SUV, which was reported stolen last week in Fargo, was traveling north on Highway 281 in South Dakota when a state trooper tried to pull the vehicle over for reckless driving.
The car fled the trooper and a pursuit continued into North Dakota before the vehicle apparently ran out of gas at mile marker 45, near Edgeley, said Sgt. Josh Rude of the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
A 15-minute standoff followed as the suspects refused to leave the vehicle despite numerous commands by law enforcement over a PA system, the highway patrol says.

Two suspects eventually exited the vehicle and were arrested without incident. Four officers then approached the vehicle and removed the remaining two suspects, who were passed out in the back seat.
Officers found numerous containers of alcohol scattered throughout the vehicle, and all four occupants were taken to Jamestown Hospital before they were turned over to the correctional center.
Further investigation uncovered the suspects are believed to have been involved in two additional pursuits early Tuesday in South Dakota, the highway patrol says.
The incident remains under investigation.
