Fort Totten man pleads guilty in deadly crash

Louis John Dunn, 36, Fort Totten, N.D., has pleaded guilty in federal court to involuntary manslaughter for a drunk driving accident that killed another man, U.S. Attorney Timothy Q. Purdon said Wednesday.

On Oct. 12, Dunn drove his vehicle into on-coming traffic on a road in the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation and struck a vehicle driven by Andrew Greywater, who died of his injuries.

Involuntary manslaughter carries a maximum penalty of eight years in prison.

Sentencing for Dunn has been scheduled for 10:45 a.m. May 29 in U.S. District Court in Fargo.
