A Fargo man convicted in the early 1990s of having sexual contact with a young girl is accused in Clay County District Court of inappropriately touching a 17-year-old while he was manager of the Pizza Hut restaurant at 2902 E. Highway 10 in Moorhead.
Todd Alan Grieger, 46, 5902 13th St. S., is charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony, and one count of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct, a gross misdemeanor.
Reached by phone Tuesday night, Grieger declined to comment on the charges or say whether he still works for Pizza Hut.
A person who answered the phone at the restaurant Tuesday said Grieger was no longer manager there but said company policy prevented him from saying anything else.
According to a court complaint:
A 17-year-old contacted Moorhead police in May and told investigators Grieger touched her inappropriately while the two were working alone on a Saturday morning.
She said Grieger came up behind her, wrapped his arms around her and lifted her off the ground.
The young woman told police Grieger then rubbed her back and eventually began touching her buttocks under her pants, according to the complaint.
The young woman said Grieger also touched her chest under her shirt.
She said later in the day Grieger called out her name and when she turned to look at him he took a picture of her with his cell phone, stating, "She's so cute," according to the court complaint.
When questioned by police, Grieger said he hired the young woman and was responsible for her training.
He also told investigators that he rubbed the young woman's chest, shoulders and lower back and that he was thinking sexually about her when he touched her, the complaint said.
Grieger has a conviction for gross sexual imposition in Cass County, according to court records.
In that case, Grieger was accused of sexually molesting a girl at a Fargo teen center where he worked as a bus driver and counselor in 1988 and 1989.
He served time in prison after pleading guilty in that case in October 1990.
