A bid for the final phase of the flood control project in Jerome's Addition has been accepted by the Crookston City Council.
Reiner Contracting of Hutchison, Minn., which previously did flood control work in Sampson's Addition, was awarded the contract with a bid of $3.2 million. Work will start in the spring in Jerome's, the last area in the city that is not protected from flooding.
