WAHPETON, N.D. - Fire departments are on the scene of a fire at the Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative sugar plant just north of Wahpeton.
Richland County emergency manager Brett Lambrecht says its a smoldering, hard-to-get-at fire at the processing plant's coal station. He says the fire got into the walls of the building.
Three firefighters were treated at the scene for heat exhaustion. There's no word yet on what started the fire.
