A Fargo woman died and an East Grand Forks man was injured in a crash west of Mentor, Minn., Tuesday morning, according to the State Patrol.
Karen Wainscott, 59, died after her Chevy Equinox collided with a Volvo semi truck driven by Tyler Messelt, 31. He was taken to a Crookston hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened around 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Minnesota Highway 32, between Mentor and Crookston.
There were no other people involved.

The accident is still under investigation, according to the State Patrol. No other information was immediately available.
