FARGO - Fargo police are asking for help identifying a man suspected of trying to pass a counterfeit $10 bill at a grocery store on Friday.

The incident happened about 5:10 p.m. at the Sunmart at 724 N. University Drive, according to a news release from Sgt. Mark Lykken.

The clerk checked the bill and did not accept it, and the man walked out of the store, Lykken said.

Police described the man as about 18 years old with dark hair. He was wearing a white button-up shirt with a dark T-shirt underneath.
