A Fargo man was arrested Saturday in Grand Forks for allegedly luring minors by computer.

Michael Scott Larson, 47, was arrested by the Grand Forks County Sheriff's Office after traveling to the city for the alleged act.

A sheriff's deputy answered a Craigslist ad, posing as an underage female. The ad, which was titled "Daddy's girl" was looking for someone to engage in sexual acts with the poster, according to court documents. In the ad, it said "age is open."

The deputy responded to the ad, telling the creator of the post, which is alleged to have been Larson, he was a 15-year-old girl. The deputy later told Larson he was a 14-year-old girl, which the deputy used for the rest of the conversation, according to court documents.

In their conversations of more than two weeks, Larson and the undercover deputy spoke through text almost every day. During their conversation, Larson described many sexual acts he would like to perform on the girl and also wanted the girl to describe the acts she would perform on him, according to court documents.

Larson allegedly told the undercover deputy he would come to Grand Forks to rent a hotel room with a Jacuzzi in it. Upon arriving at an agreed-upon location with the undercover officer, Larson was arrested.

Larson, whose initial appearance was Monday, has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 3. He has been released on appearance bond.

Larson faces a Class B felony, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
