A Fargo man was arrested early today after allegedly pulling a knife and verbally threatening a passerby.

Fargo Police Sgt. Ross Renner said the incident happened at about 1:48 a.m. in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue North.

The victim said he was walking when he met two people. One of those men asked him for a cigarette. After the victim gave the man a cigarette, the man became angry, pulled out a knife and there was a verbal exchange. The victim flagged down a police officer on patrol.

Christopher Berlin, 22, was arrested for terrorizing, a class C felony.
