A Fargo couple was seriously injured Thursday night in a motorcycle accident in south Fargo.

Police say the accident could have fatalities.

WDAY reports the accident occurred about 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of 28th Street SW and 32nd Avenue.

A First United Methodist bus was turning left into a parking lot when the motorcycle crashed into the bus.

The bus driver was uninjured. A third person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police are reporting that the married couple is in their early 30s. They say the woman may be pregnant.

Police said they have heard conflicting stories of whether or not the light was red when the motorcycle passed through the intersection, striking the bus.

Fargo police are reconstructing the scene, but results may take several days.

Traffic was detoured around the scene for several hours following the crash.

Names and conditions of the victims were not released as of press time.
