A leading expert on leading worship, Tom Kraeuter will hold a seminar for anyone interested in improving church services 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today in Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church, 220 S. Doheny St., Northwood, N.D. Author of more than a dozen books, St. Louis-based Kraeuter has held seminars in congregations from 40 denominations, according to his website, www.worshipseminar.com .

Cost is $57; less for groups.

Arnston to speak at women's retreat on Pelican Lake

Bev Arnston, Vergas, Minn., will be the featured speaker at the annual ELCA Women's Retreat of Clusters Three and Five which begins at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake, near Detroit Lakes. All women are invited and encouraged to attend for a day of fellowship, fun, inspiration and relaxation.

The theme of the retreat is "Footprints in the Sand," based on the verse from Matthew 28:20, where Jesus said, "I am with you always."
