GF church to hold pet blessing

The Rev. Keith Mills will again preside over a pet blessing service at 11 a.m. Sunday in the United Church of Christ, 2212 17th Ave. S., Grand Forks.

It's like other worship services, except that people and pets line up at the pulpit and Pastor Mills lays hands on each pet and its owner.

It's done in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, known for his love of animals.

Anyone is welcome to bring a pet or two.
