UND center to hold panel on Islam and Christianity

"Islam and Christianity: A Conversation," sponsored by the Muslim Student Association and the Campus Ministry Association, is planned for Mondays until Nov. 29 in UND's International Centre, 2908 University Ave.

Mosab Bajaber, a graduate student, the Rev. Chad Brucklacher and Pastor Kathy Fick of Christus Rex Lutheran Campus Center will lead the 7 p.m. discussions.

Topics are "Understanding Islam" this Monday, "Islam's American Face," on Nov. 22 and "Working Together" on Nov. 29.

University Lutheran to hold fall festival

Women of the ELCA at University Lutheran Church, 2122 University Ave., will hold a fall festival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. The festival will include baked goods, used books, crafts and quilts, with money raised going to local projects and Lutheran World Relief. A baked potato bar will be offered for $6. Catholic youth to rally in Harvey

Justin Fatica, the New York native who started the "Hard As Nails" youth ministry will speak at the Catholic Diocese of Fargo's youth celebration for high school students at 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 20 in Harvey, N.D. GF woman to speak at Warren Aglow

Drayton, N.D., parish to hold harvest festival

The Drayton (N.D.) Lutheran Parish will hold its harvest festival with a service at 11 a.m. Nov. 21, followed by a potluck meal. Nearby Skjeberg Lutheran, northeast of Drayton, will hold a 3 p.m. service that day, followed by refreshments. The Overtones quartet from Roseau, Minn., will sing at both services.

Park River church to host workshop on grieving
