"It's Blod Klub Time in Sharon," is the unusual call for a fundraiser 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 16 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Sharon, N.D. The traditional meal of blood sausage -- it's pork blood, potato and/or suet, side pork, spices and flour in a tube, sliced and fried -- also includes side pork, soup, sandwiches for a free will offering. EGF school to hold annual fundraiser auction

GF church to host 'Down in the Valley'

At the ninth annual "Down in the Valley" at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, "voices will be raised, stories will be told and gardening tips will be shared," to raise support for the chaplains' ministry in Valley Memorial Homes in Grand Forks, organizers said.

Garth Rydland, administrator of Valley Memorial's Woodside Village, will sing and play piano. The Valley Voices Choir, made up of Valley Memorial residents, will also sing. Refreshments will be served. Chaplains Kerwin Sletto and Walt Beaman will be there.

Crookston church holding art sessions
