Prairie Faith to hold Toby Lake service
The Prairie Faith Parish, made up of Holmes United Methodist Church, and Beaver Creek and Trinity Lutheran churches, will host their annual worship service at the camp at Lake Tobiason west of Hatton, N.D. 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
The theme of the service is "Freedom in Christ." The Holweger family will provide lunch for a freewill offering. Bring lawn chairs for the service. Everyone welcome.
The event will be held indoors if the weather turns bad.
Holmes UMC is between Hatton and Reynolds, N.D. Beaver Creek is in Northwood and Trinity is in Sharon, N.D.

Holmes UMC to hold Wednesday worship
Holmes United Methodist Church, between Hatton, N.D., and Reynolds, N.D., will hold Wednesday night service beginning 7:30 p.m. July 10. The aim, the church said, is to accommodate worshippers' busy summer weekends.
Pastor Sheri Fadley will experiment with different styles of worship each week. Sunday worship at 11 a.m. will continue. Everyone welcome.

The Jore's to play in Fertile, Bagley
"The Jore's" from Williston, N.D., are coming to northwest Minnesota July 13-14.
The family band will be at the Polk County Fair in Fertile 8 p.m. July 13 in the Christian Fellowship Tent and at Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Bagley at 6:30 p.m. July 14.

Bye to speak in GF church
Dean Bye from Return Ministries will speak at 1, 3 and 7 p.m. July 13 at New Life Foursquare Church, 321 Cottonwood St., Grand Forks. He will talk about the importance of the Christian church helping Jews immigrate to Israel in fulfillment of God's plan.
Bye will also speak at worship service at 10:30 a.m. July 14.
Henry to perform in Bemidji church
Joseph Henry, organist and pianist, will perform Gershwin and Bach, joined by Joe Vene, a bass singer, at noon Wednesday in St. Philip's Catholic Church, 702 Beltrami Ave., downtown Bemidji, as part of area churches' free summer recital series.
Henry is music director for a Catholic parish in Delano, Minn., and a chaplain's assistant in the Army Reserves.

Seibel to perform in Bemidji church
Glenn Seibel will offer a euphonium concert accompanies by Wayne Hoff on piano at noon July 17 at United Methodist Church, 9th Street and Beltrami Avenue, Bemidji, as part of area churches' free summer recital series.
Included in the concert are "The Debutante," "Andante and Allegro" and "My Old Kentucky Home." Hoff will also perform solo, playing "Jesus Paid it All."
Seibel has been featured soloist in several bands, including the Bemidji Area Community Band.

Free summer lunch for children in GF, EGF
St. Joseph's Social Care offers a free summer lunch program every weekday from noon to 1 p.m. until July 26.
Families with children of all ages are invited to take part in the program, which also includes educational activities and a chance for children to socialize. The program runs rain or shine at the following locations:
• Grand Forks: University Park; La Grave Learning Center, 832 Fourth Ave. S.; Richards West Park; and Westgate Village, 1100 N. 55th St.
• East Grand Forks: ITTS Williams Park and Sherlock Park.
