Hope Church to mark Father's Day with comedian

Thor Ramsey, a Christian comedian, headlines a Father's Day celebration Sunday in Hope Covenant Church, 1601 17th Ave. S., Grand Forks.

It begins at 4:30 p.m. with a barbecue meal, then "wacky fun, games and prizes." Ramsey takes the stage at 7 p.m.

UCC members to serve Love Feast

Members of United Church of Christ will prepare and serve the monthly "Love Feast," a free meal for anyone from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Zion United Methodist Church, 1001 24th Ave. S., Grand Forks.

Sumsky to play horn in Bemidji

At noon Wednesday, Eve Sumsky will play horn in St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 1800 Irvine Ave. N.W., as part of the Bemidji Area Church Musicians Summer Recital Series.

Events are free; donations go to music scholarship for college students.
