EGF church Bible conference continues today
The Rev. Jerry Moan will speak on "It is Written," at a Mid-Winter Bible Conference continuing today from 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Christ the King Free Lutheran Church, 1913 Third Ave. N.W., East Grand Forks.
A native of McIntosh, Minn., Moan is an instructor at the Association Free Lutheran Bible School and its Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Minn.
Lunch will be provided; everyone is welcome. A staffed nursery will be available.

Unitarians to hold film discussions
The Grand Forks Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is presenting a series of films with discussions at 7 p.m. on the fourth Sunday of the month at 217A S. Fourth St.
The films are part of a seven-part series, "Unnatural Causes," that "explores how our health and well-being are tied to policies that promote economic and social justice," organizers said in a news release.
Sunday's film, "When the Bough Breaks," looks at "racism and stress on birth outcomes." Refreshments will be served.

Veggie Tales event set in Crookston
"Robin Good (And His Not-So-Merry-Men)," a new Veggie Tales event, is set for 6 p.m. Feb. 19 in First Assembly of God Church, 605 Third St., N.E., Crookston.
The event, with games, prizes, balloons and "the Veggies," is for children age 12 and younger. No admission cost. Everyone is welcome.
