A 19-year-old man was killed and a 20-year-old man injured in an explosion at about 3 p.m. Wednesday near Ross.
Trevor Davis of Burlington was cleaning the inside of an oil tanker trailer at the Plains Trucking yard northwest of Ross at the time of the explosion and was pronounced dead at the scene. Responders found a gaping hole in the top of the building and Davis non-responsive southeast of it.
