Motorists should expect detours on DeMers Avenue in downtown Grand Forks Sunday when city crews will be removing holiday lights, the city said.

Work will start around 6 a.m. and only one block will be closed at any one time. The area affected is from the Sorlie Bridge to Fifth Street.
