Evelyn Drengson Christy
Evelyn Drengson Christy, age 90, formerly of Larimore, ND passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Mesa, AZ.
Evelyn was born May 21, 1918, the daughter of Andrew and Josephine (Johnson) Drengson on the family farm at McCanna, ND.
She was baptized and confirmed at the Elm Grove Lutheran Church of which she was a lifetime member. She graduated from Niagara, ND High School, Mayville Teachers College and received her master's degree from UND. She taught in various states throughout her life. Evelyn married Doug Christy in 1983.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; her parents, three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by one brother, Orville Drengson of Mesa, AZ; one sister-in-law, Clara Drengson of Grand Forks; five step children and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be held at Elm Grove Lutheran Church rural Larimore, N.D. on Saturday, October 11 , 2008 at 10;30 a.m. with Pastor Renee MacLeod officiating.
The Brown Funeral Home of Larimore is in Charge of arrangements.
