MINNEAPOLIS - A man that escaped prison in South Dakota, fled to Minnesota and was accused in two bank robberies before being arrested at a casino is now charged.

A criminal complaint filed by the U.S. District Court charges Clint Barry Eldeen, 46, in the robbery of a Bremer Bank in Roseville on July 11 and a Wells Fargo Bank in Richfield on July 14, television station KSTP in Minneapolis has reported.

Eldeen is accused of a car theft and a possible third bank robbery during his crime spree after walking away from a minimum security unit at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls. Eldeen was serving a 20-year sentence for writing bad checks when he escaped earlier this month.

Authorities say he then stole the vehicle of a pizza delivery man who stopped to pick up another order before ditching the car after the alleged bank robberies.

Eldeen was eventually arrested at Little Six Casino around 4 a.m. on July 15.
