Erskine woman, 21, dies in Saturday night crash

A 21-year-old Erskine, Minn., woman is dead after a one-vehicle accident Saturday night in Polk County, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Department.

A 21-year-old Erskine, Minn., woman is dead after a one-vehicle accident Saturday night in Polk County, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Department.

About 11:40 p.m. Saturday night, the Sheriff's Department responded to an accident along County Road 12 north of Fertile, Minn. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver, Victoria Sophia Sannes, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Polk Could Emergency Medical Service and the Fertile Fire Department responded. The incident is under investigation.
