Erskine, Minn., collision injures one driver

A two-vehicle collision this morning at U.S. Highway 2 and Vance Avenue in Erskine, Minn., resulted in a minor injury to one of the drivers. The accident was reported at 6:51 a.m.

A two-vehicle collision this morning at U.S. Highway 2 and Vance Avenue in Erskine, Minn., resulted in a minor injury to one of the drivers. The accident was reported at 6:51 a.m.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Thief River Falls:

Ryan L. Osmondson, 28, Red Lake Falls, Minn., was headed south on Vance Avenue in a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu as he crossed U.S. Highway 2. Meanwhile, Carrie M. Rondorf, 30, Red Lake Falls, was headed west on Highway 2 in a 2002 Ford Winstar.

Osmondson failed to yield to Rondorf, which resulted in a "T-bone" accident.

Osmondson was not injured. Rondorf suffered minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and both vehicles' airbags deployed.

Both vehicles were totaled.
