THOMPSON, N.D.-Fire crews responded to a house fire on Maplewood Drive in Thompson Wednesday evening.
Altru, multiple fire departments, and the Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department were also on scene.
The owner of the home said he was asleep at the time of the fire but woke up and safely made it outside.
He said he believes the fire started in the wall.
