• UND's Student Health Services was recently re-accredited for three years by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. More than 5,000 ambulatory health care organizations across the U.S. are accredited by AAAHC.
• Thomasine Heitkamp will soon no longer be chairwoman of UND's Social Work Department. The position is only intended to last three years, and she has been chairwoman for nine, she said. Heitkamp's last day in that job was Friday, but she will still remain at the university.

• Shana Lindeman and Lisa Vojacek, who teach at Valley Middle School in Grand Forks, were recently named to the LearnZillion Dream Team, a nonprofit learning platform that helps teachers meet the educational needs of students.

Dream Team members are required to create approximately 20 lessons based on the Common Core State Standards, and all of the lessons will be available to teachers and parents free of charge on the LearnZillion website.
