An East Grand Forks woman has been accused of dealing meth and endangering her infant child.
Kaitlynn Grace Borgerson, 20, appeared Monday in Polk County District Court on multiple drug charges after she was arrested Friday at 420 Second St. N.E. That's where officers found her with drug paraphernalia, pills, alcohol and a baggie of crystal-like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, according to court documents.
Borgerson sold meth from the apartment, witnesses said in charging documents. Her infant was at the apartment when she was arrested, police said.
She was charged with two felonies-third-degree sale of a controlled substance and a methamphetamine-related crime involving children or vulnerable adults-as well as a gross misdemeanor count of child endangerment. The sale charge carries a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison and a $250,000, the meth-related crime involving a child is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine and the last charge carries a maximum punishment of a year in jail and a $3,000 fine.
