An event to mark a step toward completing expansion of East Grand Forks Senior High has been rescheduled for Thursday after a delay due to this week's blizzard.
The topping-off ceremony for the $20.6 million expansion of the high school originally was planned Dec. 9. The final steel beam of the new structure will be raised to the highest point and will signify the end of the project's structural phase, according to contractor Construction Engineers. Students, teachers and staff will be able to sign the beam before the ceremony.
The ceremony will be at 9 a.m. at the construction site at 1420 Fourth Ave. N.W.
