Dickinson State University campus reopened at about noon today after halls were evacuated because of a bomb threat, law enforcement confirmed.
A person with an unidentified number called an employee of the Alumni Foundation reporting they had placed bombs in multiple buildings, according to a Dickinson Police Department press release. The caller also gave a specific time of detonation.
Officers did a "systematic search of the campus buildings in question," according to the release.
They found nothing out of the ordinary and the matter will be "aggressively investigated," according to the release.
May Hall, Stickney Hall and Kleinfelter Hall were evacuated, DSU Director of University Relations Marie Moe said. Everyone was told to go to the Student Center. Classes are back in session at 1 p.m., Moe told The Press earlier this morning.

Midterms are this week and a student, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said she was on the second floor in May Hall when an official told the class to go to the Student Center.
A deputy told a reporter on scene that "her life was in danger."
DSU has seen its share of trouble the past few months.
Details of an audit report, which found DSU had awarded hundreds of degrees to foreign students who didn't earn them, signed up students who couldn't speak English and enrolled a handful without qualifying grades, were made public Feb. 10.
That same day, Doug LaPlante, 59, DSU dean of the college of education, business and applied sciences, died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was found dead in Dickinson's Memorial Park, according to a Dickinson Police Department release. He had been with the university since 1991.
The Stark County Sheriff's Office confirmed there was a threat at the university at about 10:15 this morning and they, along with the Dickinson Police Department, Dickinson Ambulance Service, Emergency Management, North Dakota Highway Patrol and Dickinson Fire Department personnel were on scene.
