Minnkota Power Cooperative is asking rural drivers to be careful around work to construct a 250-mile transmission line from Grand Fork to Center, N.D.

Trucks and other heavy equipment used for foundation and line construction could cause delays and congestion, a release from the cooperative said. Construction this year will be mostly on the eastern part of the project, from Carrington, N.D., to Grand Forks. It is expected to be complete by the end of 2013.
