Fargo police clean up after a vehicle flipped on 25th Street South Monday afternoon. The driver and passenger were taken by ambulance to an area hospital with unknown injuries after jumping from the moving car.
The vehicle traveled about a half block, struck a curb and flipped near Ninth Avenue South.
Two women were taken to an area hospital late this morning after jumping from their moving vehicle on 25th Street, said Lt. Joel Vettel of the Fargo police.
The vehicle traveled about a half block before striking the curb and flipping near Ninth Avenue South, holding up noon-hour traffic.

The car was traveling northbound on 25th Street when the occupants noticed smoke and decided to bail after the brakes failed to work, Vettel said.
Police arrived on the scene and found the driver and passenger about a half block from the vehicle. Both were conscious when they were taken from the scene, Vettel said.
Vettel said police suggest drivers coast a vehicle to a stop if the brakes aren't working.
"The last thing you want to do is exit a vehicle while it's still moving," he said.
