A driver experienced a medical emergency which caused her to crash into a traffic pole Sunday morning.
Police were called to the 1900 block of South Washington Street on a report of an impaired driver just before 11 a.m., a press release said. Before arriving at the scene, officers were told the Toyota Crossover crashed into a traffic signal pole at 44th Avenue South and South Washington Street, the release said.
The 24-year-old driver was experiencing a medical emergency and was treated on scene, the release said. The car was heavily damaged on the front end and driver's side, the release said. The driver was released after being treated on the scene, the release said.
