Grand Forks Police are asking the public for any information about a dog that reportedly bit a UND student near campus Tuesday.
According to police Wednesday, the female student said she encountered a woman walking two small dogs about 4:50 p.m. Tuesday near Fifth Avenue and Oxford Street, an area with private homes mixed with UND properties north of the main area of the campus.
The student said the woman dog-walker is frequently seen in the area with small children and has shoulder-length blond hair.
One of the two small brown dogs bit her when she "had contact with the dog," but the student
didn't realize she had been bitten until noticing later her skin had been broken, according to the police report.
