The Agassiz Circle residential development in Devils Lake is getting a $385,000 grant from the state's Housing Finance Agency, one of 18 throughout the state to get affordable-housing funds, the agency said.
The grant goes towards the second phase of Agassiz Circle, which provides eight units at a total cost of $1.29 million.
In all, the state is giving out more than $20 million, most of it to address housing in the Oil Patch. All projects must provide priority housing for so-called "essential service workers," ranging from a city employee, to a teacher to a nurse.
