DICKINSON, N.D. - Congressman Earl Pomeroy announced this morning that a new location has been chosen for a veteran's clinic in Dickinson, N.D.

A contract with Great Plains Clinic, which served about 800 southwestern North Dakota veterans, ended May 1. Veterans then needed to get authorization from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to book appointments at a private clinic.

Pomeroy said the new location should be ready in September.

"The congressional delegation has been pressing hard to get local community-based services in Dickinson," he said.

The Dickinson (N.D.) Press and the Herald are owned by Forum Communications Co.
