The annual Devils Lake water tour will be June 20.

The tour, called the Devils Lake Solutions in Action Water Tour, is co-sponsored by the Devils Lake Basin Joint Water Resource Board and the North Dakota Water Education Foundation.

The daylong event will include flooded areas, as well as new flood control measures. The last two will begin operation this month.

Flooded agricultural areas include eastern Ramsey County and western Nelson County, the latter including the Fenster Slough area and McHugh Slough/Lake Laretta.

Water-related presentations will be provided by: Suzie Kenner, Devils Lake Tourism Director; Bruce Engelhardt, water engineer with the North Dakota State Water Commission; and Jeff Frith, manager of the Devils Lake Basin Joint Water Resource Board.
