FARGO -- A Devils Lake man has pleaded guilty to charges connected with his sexual contact with a girl younger than 12 at the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation, the U.S. Department of Justice said Tuesday.
Erick McKay is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 10 on two counts of abusive sexual contact. Each count carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
The abuse happened between April 2011 and June 2012.
