MENAHGA, Minn. -- Authorities are investigating the death of a woman found Saturday morning at a home in the north-central Minnesota city of Menahga.
Menahga police and Wadena County sheriff’s deputies responded shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday to a report of an unresponsive woman at the residence, according to a news release from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The woman was found dead at the home, but with no obvious cause of death.
Police requested assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
The Ramsey County medical examiner will perform an autopsy Sunday to formally identify the woman and determine the cause and manner of death, the release said.
