As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a Grand Forks victims’ advocacy group is putting on a rally against domestic violence.
Community Violence Intervention Center is hosting the rally, which kicks off Thursday with an art reception and food at 4:30 p.m. at the Empire Arts Center at 415 DeMers Ave. downtown.
At 5:30 p.m., speakers will share their stories with attendees, with state Sen. Mac Schneider, D-Grand Forks, as emcee.
