A Crookston woman has died after suffering severe burns at her home last week, according to the Police Department.
Emergency responders found Balvir Kaur, 60, seriously injured by burns outside her home at 308 S. Nelson St., May 21. She was airlifted to a Twin Cities burn unit, where she died the following day, police said in a statement Tuesday.
Police reported little damage to her home and said the fire is under investigation. The fire is "an isolated incident" and no others are suspected in connection to it, according to their statement.
