CROOKSTON - The Crookston Police Department is investigating a report of assault at the city's Walmart on Sunday night.

Joshua Baatz told police that Walmart employee Patricia Mendrano of Grand Forks knocked a cell phone out of his hand as she reviewed his receipt, according to a news release from the Crookston Police Department.

The incident, which remains under investigation, will be forwarded to Crookston's city attorney for review and possible charges, according to the release.

Baatz on late Sunday posted a video of the incident on his Facebook page.
