Jeffrey Almhjeld of Crookston recently won $5,555 from the Minnesota State Lottery, the lottery agency said.
He claimed the prize March 7 after playing the Funky 5 scratch game ticket, which he bought at Best Buy Liquor in Crookston.
Minnesota State Lottery proceeds go in the state general fund paying for core services such as education and public safety, as well as environmental programs.
