A Crookston man pleaded guilty to 12 counts of possessing child pornography Monday in Polk County District Court.
Eduardo Cortez, 30, will serve 10 years in prison, according to the terms of a sentence agreement. That sentence won't become official until a Feb. 13 court date.
"This is as bad of a case of child pornography that you'll see," Polk County State's Attorney Greg Widseth said.
The case was investigated by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Crookston Police Department.
