Jason Vold has been named the new Crookston High School principal from a field of six finalists, according to the Crookston Area Schools.
Vold's most recent job was as a director at New Century Academy, a charter school in Hutchison, Minn. Vold replaces Lon Jorgenson, who is leaving to become the superintendent of the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District.
The finalists included CHS industrial technology teacher Chris Trostad.
