A two-vehicle accident south of Crookston injured one person at approximately 9:16 a.m. Monday, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies released few details in the incident in which a 2004 International garbage truck east bound on County Road 45 collided with a 1999 Chevrolet van north bound on County Road 14. A passenger in the van was injured. Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts.
The van sustained moderate to heavy damage. The garbage truck was slightly damaged. The accident is under investigation and charges are pending.
