Hough Inc., Detroit Lakes, Minn., had been working on the project since May 18 under a $50,600 contract from the corps.

The Corps of Engineers has been tasked by the Federal Emergency Management Agency with the removal of temporary flood protection measures used during the spring flood fight in the Red River of the North river basin.
