BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Saturday, May 22. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.

- NEW CASES: 69
- TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 628
- TOTAL CASES: 109,577
- TOTAL RECOVERED: 107,442
- DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 3.5%
Bismarck's Burleigh County recorded 16 new cases Saturday. Both Fargo's Cass County and Minot's Ward County tallied nine and Williams County reported eight. Grand Forks County and Dickinson's Stark County added six new cases each.
Burke, Emmons, Golden Valley, McKenzie, Mercer, Mountrail, Sargent, Sioux and Stutsman counties all recorded three or fewer new cases.
Burleigh County's 105 active cases topped the state.

NEWLY-REPORTED DEATHS: 0
TOTAL DEATHS: 1,507
The state did not report any new deaths Saturday.

COMPLETED SERIES (Two doses): 266,707
A total of 580,302 shots have been administered to North Dakotans. 44% of North Dakotans are fully-vaccinated. Residents are urged to seek more information at Health.ND.gov/covidvaccinelocator.
Nationwide, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have reported 32.8 million COVID-19 cases and 584,975 deaths blaming the virus. 61% of Americans have received at least one vaccine.
