The world-famous Clydesdales will be a featured attraction at this year's three-day ArtWise elementary art show, which kicks off at 3:30 p.m. today in the Alerus Center.
The horses, minus any beer advertising, will visit the art show from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Alerus parking lot.
They'll add another dimension to the show that will showcase thousands of artworks by area elementary school students, plus demonstrations by artists and performances by young actors, musicians, gymnasts and dancers.
The art show and festival will be from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. each day with the opening ceremony at 6 p.m. today with Grand Forks Mayor Mike Brown and a U.S. Air Force color guard.
Admission is free. Tickets are for sale for some of the demonstrations and "make and take" activities. Here's a schedule
