FARGO - Even though he called it a "pipedream" the chairman of the Fargo St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee says they're going to ask rock star Jon Bon Jovi to serve as the parade's grand marshal, if they can find the right avenue through which to make the request.
Paul Evans puts the odds of landing the presence of the Bon Jovi frontman at "slim to none."
"But," Evans says, "it never hurts to ask."
Bon Jovi's name came up because his band will be in town on March 13 for a 7:30 p.m. concert at the Fargodome. That just happens to be the same day as the parade, which begins at 3 p.m. in downtown Fargo.
