Thursday, The Grand Forks Police Department is going to begin a 10 day "Click It or Ticket" campaign which will involve traffic enforcement by several officers looking specifically for traffic violations.
This program is funded by the North Dakota Department of Transportation and will help fund about 75 overtime hours for this type of enforcement. The last selective traffic enforcement effort in May 2010 resulted in 392 citations for a variety of traffic offenses.
