Clearbrook, Minn., man hospitalized after one-vehicle rollover

A man from rural Clearbrook, Minn., was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening after he lost control of his pickup, rolled into the ditch and was ejected from the vehicle 5 miles east of Fosston, Minn., on Polk County Road 1.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Scott Sander, 56, was traveling east in a 2001 Ford F250 pickup when he lost control and drove off the road into the south ditch.

The pickup vaulted over an approach and went through trees before coming to rest on its top at the edge of a soybean field.

Sander was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. Essentia Ambulance transported him to Essentia Hospital in Fosston and he was later transferred to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

The accident is still under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
